Horahora Memorial Hall Restoration
Historically the now dilapidated 1950’s hall had been an integral part of the community, and the remit was to bring her back to her former glory to continue to serve the community for many more generations. The extensive renovation included a full re-roof and service upgrades including drainage, plumbing and electrical. Additionally, new insulation, interior reline, acoustic baffles on the ceiling, upgrades to toilet and kitchen facilities and timber floor resurfacing. Externally, the large damaging treeline was removed and a large entranceway 65m2 extension with decking and balustrade - all with an extremely limited budget.
