Terms & Conditions

Initial Consultation: Your first one-hour consultation with Finz Carpentry is free of charge. During this meeting we’ll discuss your project, pricing options, and whether a Preliminary Services Agreement is the right next step.

Ballpark Estimate: If full documentation isn’t yet available, we can provide a free, non-binding ballpark estimate to help guide your decision-making. This estimate is subject to change once all documents are received and a detailed cost analysis is undertaken.

Preliminary Services Agreement: This agreement is used when clients do not yet have plans but would like us to guide them from initial concept or idea through to consented drawings. The fee covers our time, design fees, a detailed cost analysis, and any applicable disbursements. All outputs from this stage (plans, consents, and reports) are yours to keep and use, regardless of whether you choose Finz Carpentry for the construction phase.

Detailed Cost Analysis: A comprehensive cost analysis is prepared by an independent Quantity Surveyor (QS). There is a fee for this service, but the report is yours to keep and use, even if you choose not to build with us. Many clients find this invaluable for setting budgets, securing finance, and comparing options.
