Located in Tairua Heights, this 1970’s family bach and separate garage were due for a full exterior make over! A new concrete block retaining wall was constructed at the entrance to provide extra parking, and the front of the house was extended out and the full exterior of both the house and garage were re-clad in dark-blue board and batten with red and white accents. The Pohutukawa red structural steel was craned up and over the house from the driveway, ready for the extended wrap-around decking to be cantilevered out over the tricky hill-top site to make the most of phenomenal panoramic views over the Tairua harbour.

 A new fire place was installed, all garage, upper level windows and exterior doors were replaced with double-glazed warm white aluminium joinery and the new decking was finished with glass balustrading. Overhead, new white louvers were installed between the house and the exposed red steel beams to finish off the new outdoor area. This was a complex and magnificent job, that the Finz team were so proud to be a part of, and the results speak for themselves.
